A Touch of Character #7 & #8
I wasn't able to post yesterday, so today we have a two-fer: twins! Meet a pair of wood elves who do everything together and who are literally mirror images of each other.
Name: Fenreth Nightbreeze (Nailo)
Occupation: Druid/Patroller
Appearance: Fenreth has long, silvery-blond hair. He keeps it long and loose, without so much as a simple braid. His left eye is green and his right blue, a feature considered to either be extremely lucky or the sign of a curse, depending on who you ask.
Fenreth wears simple clothing made of cloth and wool. Unlike some druids, he refuses to wear skins or hides of any kind, even from an honest kill or natural death. He dyes his clothing in earth tones of greens and browns, the perfect camouflage for blending in with the forest around him.
Traits & Mannerisms: Fenreth has a big heart and has an incredible knack for getting along with children. When in the village, he is often swarmed by young elves.
Fenreth is friendly with everyone and has a deep respect for all natural life. He is protective of his younger (by a minute) brother, his kin, and his allies.
Name: Findel Nightbreeze
Occupation: Scout/Patroller
Appearance: Like his twin brother, Findel has silvery-blond hair. He keeps his in a long, tight braid tucked under his cloak. Like his brother, Findel has one blue eye and one green, but his are reversed, making him the mirror image of his brother.
Findel wears brown leather armor combined with a deep green, hooded cloak. He keeps his armor a little dirty on purpose so that it doesn't reflect any light and helps him blend in with the brush, trees, and dirt.
Traits & Mannerisms: Findel has a very peculiar way of speaking. He over-emphasizes and enunciates every word and every syllable. It gets on his brother's nerves, but most people just think it odd. Findel is cautious in all things.
Bios: The elven brothers grew up in the great forest in a small village near the eastern edge. Born explorers, the two ventured out into to the woods almost as soon as they could walk. Like many elves, they fell in the love with the forest and made dual vows to protect it so long as they lived. Though they took different paths - druid and ranger - the two are always found together, working in unison while on patrol along the forest edge. The Nightbreeze twins are lighthearted and jovial, and get along with everyone, not only elves, but travellers and passersby they encounter as well. If your heart is kind and your intentions are good, you're likely to be friends with these two. Cross them, however, and they will be more than happy to bring all of nature's wrath upon you.
